What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a non-religious practice that asks us to be present in our lives and live with full awareness, attention and interest. It is the simple act of bringing awareness to sensations, thoughts and feelings that arise, with the goal of living more mindfully. Mindfulness helps us reduce stress and overthinking that are detrimental to our health and well-being, manage behaviors with consequences we don’t want to deal with in a way that benefits our lives, and embracing an active lifestyle.
What Happens in a ManoShala’s Mindfulness Group Session?
This session will enable you to take a firm control of your body, mind and emotions by learning three powerful rules that combine insights from therapy, mindfulness and neuroscience. By practicing different mindfulness techniques, you will get a closer insight into the nature of your mind, and you’ll end up with atleast one tool you can start using right away to calm yourself down.
Who Can Attend a Mindfulness Group Session?
This session is for you if you are between the 18 to 40 age group looking for solutions around your overthinking and want to attain a peaceful state of mind. The virtual session is of 90 minutes conducted in Hindi and English on Zoom.
